What a great Maribyrnong Makers Market on Saturday! Not a drop of rain (HURRAH!!), good crowds and the odd piece of cake to keep us going!!
Attached are some pictures from the day, and of a few favourites we have on offer: our ever popular greediebird badges and the return of the greedieowls!

We're taking a little break from our regular markets for October, but will be busily making all sorts of new creations in our nest, ready for the November and December markets:

New toys to a new home!

I recently made some new toys and (for a change) wrote down the pattern as I went... during which time a friend put out a request for some donations to the Melbourne Citymission Youth Precinct that is about to open in Church St, North Fitzroy.
So below are the dancing ballerinas, questionable pirates and cuddly koalas that got created (and recreated successfully) and are about to be sent off to a new home this afternoon!

Hopefully I'll get a few spare minutes to make some more for the Maribyrnong Makers Market this Saturday in Seddon... Hope to see you there!

WE'VE LANDED!

Manda & Anne have finally set up a nest for greediebird!
It is overflowing with crocheted and soft toys, pretty girls dresses, little boys shirts, tote bags, and a few other bits and pieces.  Our greediebird badges and cute animal finger puppets are a hit with kids (and cheep! cheep! cheep!)
We look forward to bringing to you all of our latest designs and crafty adventures.
